What is “Yakatabune”? Yakatabune is one of Japanese traditional plays that has a long history. You can enjoy Japanese cuisine and Sake while looking at amazing scenery on the houseboat. Each season shows you spectacular views of Tokyo. For instance, cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring and fireworks are launched in summer etc. Furthermore, sumptuous Japanese dishes using carefully selected seasonal ingredients such as Tempura, Sashimi for all seasons and a hot-pot dish will be served in autumn and winter wait for you. We believe our Yakatabune cruising creates you an unforgettable and luxurious moment. What is Funayado-Tsurishin? Tsurishin is a houseboat at Umayabashi bridge where takes just 2 minutes on foot from Kuramae Sta. (nearby Asakusa). Recently, more and more popular among not only the local people but the visitors from overseas as well and fortunately they are extremely satisfied with our exclusive cuisine. Sailing Route Go down Sumida river from Umayanashi bridge, Kuramae/Asakusa. You can watch Tokyo Sky Tree, Kachitokibashi bridge, Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge and more during the cruise heads for Odaiba called as Yakatabune-Ginza. The scenery of Tokyo seen from Yakatabune is very impressive and that shows us myriad aspects which changes from season to season. If there are ingredients you cannot eat, we will do our best to prepare alternative dishes whenever possible. However, if we are informed about allergies only after boarding, we may not be able to accommodate your request. Please note that in the unlikely event of an anaphylactic reaction, the boat will be on the water and it may take time to reach a hospital. We kindly ask for your understanding. Cancellation Policy 3 weeks before the event: JPY 30,000 cancellation fee will be charged. 2 weeks before the event: 30% of the total scheduled payment will be charged. 3 days before the event: 50% of the total scheduled payment will be charged. On the day of the event: 100% of the total scheduled payment will be charged. Changes in the number of participants: A decrease in the number of participants is accepted until 2:00 PM on the day before the event. An increase in the number of participants is accepted until 5:00 PM on the day before the event. Please note that large increases in participants may not be accommodated. For same-day reductions in participants, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. Same-day increases may not be possible. If arrangements can be made, an additional same-day handling fee will be charged.
