About this experience

In the tea room, you’ll receive an explanation and watch the tea ceremony, while learning the essentials—simple manners, and how to enjoy tea and sweets properly. For guests who prefer not to sit on the floor, the ceremony is usually offered in Ryūrei-style (chair seating), and you can also choose a special room option (entered through a rare nijiriguchi entrance) There is also an add-on option to whisk tea yourself (described as making a second bowl on your own).
